Shelby + TJ

Hellloooooo!!!! Okay first things first, welcome to my new website!!!! This was my first blog post on my old website and I obviously had to make this the first blog post on my new website! And what better way to start out than to share one of my fav shoots with some of my fav people in one of my fav places. This sunrise engagement session in Yosemite National Park was SO GOOOOOD Yosemite always has me shook because… ugh, it’s just so dang beautiful. Duh.

I met Shelby… 10 years ago? When I was a junior and she was just a freshman in high school. And I was sooo excited when she told me that SHE WAS GETTING MARRIED. It’s been so wonderful watching her grow and become the amazing individual that she is. And who better to compliment her than TJ???? I was super bummed not to be taking their wedding photos but I was STOKED to attend their wedding as a guest! But since I wasn’t shooting their wedding, naturally, we had to do an amazing engagement shoot (duh).

I’ve been wanting to go to Glacier Point in Yosemite National Park at sunrise for a while now. A couple months ago, I asked Shelby and TJ if they would be interested in doing a sunrise shoot there. They were super down and we made it happen ASAP. So we woke up at 1:30am and drove to Yosemite like crazy people BUT HOLY CRAP, WAS IT WORTH IT. It could not have been a more beautiful day.

Shoutout to these two for braving the cold, always being down for an adventure, and just being so dang cute. Super grateful for you guys.
