Wedding at Nella Terra Cellars in Sunol, California

I absolutely love shooting at Nella Terra Cellars in Sunol, California. It’s such a fun venue that I don’t even care that it’s like an hour and a half away from me and I didn’t hesitate when Diane from Diane B Photography asked if I wanted to second shoot for her.
Sarah and Chris were SO much fun and it was the perfect summer wedding. We started off their day with a first look down by the pond and they both looked SO GOOD. Even their dog Cody was picture ready with his flower collar. We took some portraits in the trees by the pond and they were literally glowing. They were the cutest couple.
It was a bit toasty out but I loved that they provided cute little parasols for their guests during the ceremony. If you’re unfamiliar with Nella Terra Cellars, there’s a very lonnnggg staircase from the parking lot down to the ceremony space. Every wedding I’ve done there has walked down the staircase for her entrance and it’s always so dramatic and a bit comical and I love it. Everyone always cheers once they finally make it to the bottom. The ceremony was short but sweet and their vows to each other were so cute. I loved how excited they were to be married.
During cocktail hour, Diane went off and did portraits with them while I covered cocktail hour and the reception details. I walked into the reception tent and my jaw literally dropped. Their reception space was SO beautiful. The tent at Nella Terra Cellars is always stunning but I loved the colors Chris and Sarah chose – it turned out so well. And I LOVED their cute little wedding cake. I was just obsessed with all of it.
Sarah and Chris hired an MC/hype man for their wedding and I thought it was a little weird hearing about it but it was SO FUN. He kept the party going and made sure everyone was having fun all night long and I 10/10 recommend hiring an MC/hype man for your wedding! It was just a really really fun day and I’m so glad I got to help capture it!
