Rebecca + Davis

I had so much fun shooting with Rebecca and Davis during their engagement session! I’m shooting their wedding in April 2022 for my friend Nicola at Nicola Leigh Photography so it’s always fun to get to do the engagement session beforehand to get to know each other and also get them comfortable in front of the camera.

Rebecca and Davis were so fun and flexible. We sent them some location options in Napa, California but the week of the shoot I found a new cool spot and asked if they wanted to try that spot instead and they didn’t hesitate! I love when couples trust me to find them amazing locations and it ended up being perfect! The sun was STUNNING the evening of their session and we had so much fun together.

The morning of the shoot I told them to feel free to bring any props they wanted to bring – their favorite foods, drinks, champagne to pop, etc. My pro tip for everyone bringing champagne to pop for photos: buy at least two bottles! It can be the cheapest champagne on the shelf, it doesn’t matter. Bringing more than one bottle ensures you have a backup in case the first try doesn’t go as planned 🙂 And if it does go well, then you just have more champagne to pop! At our session Davis got to do one and Rebecca got to do one and it was just so much fun.

We danced, twirled, laughed, and did all the things. We had so much fun together and this is exactly why I always recommend doing an engagement session 🙂 I could already tell their wedding was going to be a BLAST and I couldn’t wait to party it up with them at their wedding in April 2022!
