I don’t even know where to start, I loved this engagement session sooo much! I was so excited when Paulina and Kyle said they wanted to do their engagement session in Marin Headlands. I went to college in Sonoma County so I used to explore San Francisco, Marin Headlands and all of the Bay Area. I had been to these spots so many times but had never done a shoot here!
We started at Battery Spencer – a classic view of the Golden Gate Bridge and it never gets old! We goofed around there and had some fun taking photos when we noticed Karl the Fog start to roll in. We headed up to Hawk Hill to beat the fog and had every intention of snapping a few more photos with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background before heading down to rodeo beach for sunset… but Mother Nature had other plans for us. We got up to Hawk Hill and walked through the tunnel and up the steps and the shadows on the hill with the glow of the sun and the fog had all of our jaws dropping. IT WAS SO FREAKING BEAUTIFUL!!!!
We ended up just taking photos on that side of Hawk Hill and not even going down to Rodeo Beach. We laughed, we danced, we had people staring at us lol. It was so much fun!
I honestly can’t even believe how freaking beautiful the weather was during this engagement session. I remember it was pretty foggy in Napa in the morning and I was a little bummed out – although don’t get me wrong, fog can make for some stunning photos! But this evening could not have been more perfect 🙂
