Ben + Sam

Ben reached out to me waaayyyy back in February 2019 about shooting his proposal and I was more than happy to capture this moment for them! They live in Florida but were planning a visit to wine country and then taking a road trip up the west coast. His plan was to go wine tasting and pop the question at the last winery. I checked out a few different wineries to find the perfect spot before we decided on the beautiful Viansa Sonoma Winery. If you’ve never been, you should absolutely book a reservation for a tasting ASAP. Ben booked a reservation in one of their private overlooks that sits over Viansa’s beautiful vineyards and it was just the perfect spot.

Soon July 2019 was here and they were in California! The day of the proposal, they visited Domaine Carneros, Gloria Ferrer and Cornerstone before making their way to Viansa – all gorgeous wineries with a great experience and I’d recommend all of them. Viansa’s event coordinator did an excellent job of helping make plans and we were all so excited for our plan to finally roll out.

Sam was SO surprised! I’m still very impressed with how sneaky Ben was and how he managed to plan it all out without her suspecting a thing. We cheered after he popped the question and it was so exciting and truly an honor to get to be apart of such a special moment.

After the proposal, they FaceTimed friends and family back in Florida to tell everyone the wonderful news. And then we got to take some photos are Viansa’s beautiful property. I can’t emphasize enough how beautiful Viansa is and it was the perfect place to propose and shoot at. Here’s some photos so you can see for yourself 🙂
