Sarah + Joe

I had sooo much fun associate shooting this wedding for the incredibly talented Nicola Leigh Photography! I had shot at The Mountain Terrace out in Woodside, California once before and it’s such a cute venue with all those redwoods and I’ve been dying to go back again and shoot more weddings there!

I had actually met Sarah and Joe earlier last year when we did their engagement session together, also in the redwoods! We had so much fun running around the forest together and I was stoked for their wedding day!

I started the day at the hotel with the girls and everyone looked absolutely stunning already when I arrived. I had so much fun putting together flat lays of all of Sarah’s beautiful details. And I absolutely loved the stationary she wrote Joe’s note on – so cute!

We headed to the venue to get Sarah into her dress before the first look and her dress was SOOOO PRETTY. I loved every single detail and Sarah was such a gorgeous bride. I think Joe agreed too and I believe he teared up a bit during their first look… we love it when they cry 🙂

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful with all of the redwoods in the background and the view of the bay. After the ceremony, Sarah and Joe popped some champagne with their wedding party and it’s probably one of my favorite wedding party photos!

Their wedding day was just such a gorgeous day and I’m sooo happy to have been able to be a part of it and capture it for them. I can’t wait to see where life takes them!
