Paulina + Kyle

Paulina and Kyle are such a fun-loving, goofy couple and I love them so much. We had so much fun at their engagement session in Marin Headlands (if you haven’t seen it already, you can check it out here) and I just knew their wedding day was going to be a blast. 

Paulina and Kyle actually already had a small backyard ceremony back in March. They wanted to have a ceremony so Kyle’s grandfather could be there. I feel so honored to have been able to be a part of so many events in their lives and to have been able to capture such special moments for them. 

Their wedding took place in Petaluma, California at a private residence. When I got there, I couldn’t believe how freaking beautiful it was – I was obsessed with every detail of the houses and the property. The house has a beautiful sunroom and I obviously HAD to take all the detail photos and getting ready photos in that room, I just couldn’t help myself. We love beautiful window light, amirite???

The ceremony space was absolutely stunning. I was dying over the mismatched chairs and benches and the arch that Kyle made himself that they had also used at their backyard wedding. Miss Melissa Floral Design really outdid themselves with all of the floral decor. I had so much fun running around the property taking endless photos of all the beautiful details.

After the ceremony, I headed to the reception tent to grab some reception detail photos – you know how much I loooove taking detail photos. I just about DIED over the stunning cake that Jasmine Rae Cakes created for them. She never fails to amaze me – her cakes are literally a work of art. The reception details were so cute. They even included those cute little wooden bobblehead figures on each table because Paulina’s family is from Mexico, it was such a fun and festive addition. Also, I am LIVING for the whole  “fruit as decor” trend that I’ve seen this year. I was obsessed with all the grapes, pears and figs included on all of the tables. 

Paulina and Kyle are just such a sweet couple and I’m so glad that I got to capture this day for them. I can’t wait to see where their adventures take them!
