I shot this beautiful wedding for the very talented Aly Tovar. Aly and Joey had just had their baby and I couldn’t be more happy to help them out and shoot this wedding for them 🙂
This wedding was in Trentadue Winery up in Geyserville, California and if you’ve never been you absolutely need to make a trip up there! It’s a gorgeous winery with incredible views of the Alexander Valley wine region and the surrounding mountains. Francis Ford Coppola Winery is right across the street from Trentadue as well so you can easily make a day trip out of it 😉 Anyways, I had been here before but had yet to shoot a wedding so when Joey and Aly asked if I could shoot this wedding for them I obviously had to say yes and I was SO excited!
Before the ceremony, Anabell did a first look with her dad and that was so sweet. However, Michael also did a first look with his mom and they both sobbed and it was so emotional and beautiful. I can’t say this enough but I get emotional at literally every single wedding, no matter how well or how little I know the couple. I literally had just met Anabell and Michael on their wedding day and it’s just such a special thing to be a part of all these moments.
The ceremony space at Trentadue is absolutely beautiful. It was on the front lawn with all the redwood trees as the backdrop. The reception space took place under the grape arbor, which is literally the most beautiful thing ever – actual reception goals. With the vineyards in full bloom, this could not have been a more perfect wedding space.
Anabell and Michael are such a sweet couple and their love for Christ is so beautiful. Their friends and family were equally as wonderful and there were so many amazing speeches given during their reception. The day was just so full of love and laughter. I love being part of large weddings that feel intimate.
